Job Description

MANAGER - CONSULTING
TOKYO / NEW DELHI

We are looking for an experienced manager level individual to be part of Consulting Division of JP Tokyo & Co. – focusing to maximize this division’s efficiency, productivity, profitability and performance by expanding current accounts and developing new accounts and projects and executing assigned projects.​

Responsibilities and Duties​:

Be responsible for a minimum of 30 ~ 50 million JPY annual sales target in Management Consulting Division.
End to end responsibility for delivering complex consulting engagements that can be across a wide range of topics including but not limited to – program/project management, market research, system implementation, business process automation, corporate growth strategy, new market entry strategy, project feasibility analysis, large scale program transformation etc.
Provide strategic and consultative services to the leadership team as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert by providing objective, practical and relevant ideas, insights and advice.
Work closely with stakeholders, and executives to gather the as-is processes, operations issues, performance matrix and related information. Be risk aware, identifying and managing risks; provide alternative solutions; escalate when appropriate, anticipating sensitive matters.
Responsible for Project and Portfolio Management, including managing objectives, timelines, risks, discrepancies and dependencies; Ensure robust measurement and evaluation of the project to critically assess impact.
Responsible for marketing and business development, designing and selling engagements and manage/ cultivate existing and new relationships with key stakeholder groups to maintain relationships across industries.
Leverages advanced knowledge of a business structure and components of a product or service to identify current state for a project or endeavor; Analyzes gaps caused by change initiatives and determines potential opportunities
Establish credibility throughout the organization and set the example as a proactive leader who earns respect by demonstrating a sound understanding of business goals and objectives.
Develop a framework for learning and create an organizational culture of learning and knowledge sharing within Consulting Division.
Support other manager-level members on Business Development activities
Lead, coach, supervise and develop staff as required; utilize outside resources as appropriate
Focus on utilization, quality of service, and efficiencies which drive unit costs down through continuous improvement.

Qualification Requirements ​:

A minimum of 5~7 years of experience working in management consulting
Ability to speak and write in English and Japanese fluently (Optional for New Delhi)
Excellent written and verbal business communications, Listening and facilitation skills: including ability to effectively present issues and ideas in logical and articulate manner
Ability to engage in consultative dialogue with stakeholders across all levels of the organization, strong aptitude in listening and analytical/problem solving, with focus on implementation and operations
Superior critical thinking skills, strong relationship-building and relationship management skills
Demonstrates excellent professional presence and business acumen with in-depth domain knowledge; recognized as a domain/industry leader
Understands technology and business concepts; Communicates effectively with stakeholders and customers

This time, we are looking for engineer internship students. We will entrust you with data management utilizing Microsoft's information sharing service and programming work of your own HP.
There are Indian programmers with high programming knowledge in the company, and it is an environment where you can ask anything you do not understand. Since members from major consultants are gathered, you can learn "problem-solving ability" and "logical thinking" in addition to programming. Both are indispensable abilities for excellent engineers.
